Just as we thought things couldn’t get any worse, Prime Minister, Boris Johnson announced on Monday evening that the entire nation will be entering a full lockdown for the third time. This will last until Mid-February as long as cases start to fall. What does this mean for the Holiday industry? This means that Holidays both in Britain and Abroad will be banned – only essential trips in and out of the country will be allowed.

Can I go on Holiday?

As part of the new nationwide restrictions, all international holidays will be banned from everyone in England, with only essential travel allowed. For example, if you do need to travel overseas, you can only do so with a legally permitted reason, like for work.

For those who are already abroad, don’t worry – you don’t need to return immediately. However, we advise that you check with the airline or travel agents that you flew with on the arrangements on returning home.
